Er hat uns über den Arade nach Silves geschippert , wo wir... read more auch 2 Stunden Aufenthalt hatten, um die Altstadt etwas kennen zu lernen und konnte uns bei jedem Stop mit seinem Wissen etwas erzählen. Ich kann den Trip nur empfehlen, da es sich dabei nicht um eine touristische Massenveranstaltung handelt, sondern eher um einen familiären Ausflug ,bei dem es auch noch eine gratis Kostprobe von verschiedenen Portweinen gab.
Ich würde den Ausflug wieder buchen.
Und Reiner wünsche ich immer eine Handbreite Wasser unterm Kiel.

Great service! We were able to book the entire boat for our group of 8 for our trip from Ferragudo to Silves and back. We were expected and welcomed. We... read more were not rushed for getting in the boat, which was done with care. The guided tour was very interesting. Reiner was happy to answer our questions. It was amazing being on the river and seeing the sites up close. The free time in Silves was nice to stretch our legs. Because we'd been there before it was enough time to walk a bit, and sit at a cafe for a bit. The added drink of port in the boat was a very nice touch. We'll do this trip again!!

Follow the footsteps of the ancient Romans
Land on the river shore, conquer and discover the medieval castle and town of Silves after making your way up the river Arade.
The 4 hour tour will take you to Silves (2,5 hours on the boat/1,5 hours in Silves)
Starting in Ferragudo our boat leaves the mouth of the Arade river into the Atlantic. Along the beautiful Algarvian coast we will make our way towards the famous Cave of Benagil. On the way we will also enter several caves and pass beautiful beaches. Picturesque photo opportunities are plenty and memories of a splendid boat tour will never leave you. Private 2.5 hour tour.
Your experienced skipper and guide will show you the beautiful spots of the coast from a different perspective … the way the fishermen see it.
This 1.5 hour tour will take you along the coast line up to Carvoeiro and Algar Seco. Here you have the opportunity to see Caves and hidden beaches during the tour from Ferragudo to Carvoeiro.
